We welcome you into our workshop
During DDW, we welcome you into our workshop, knowledge center and maker community. Discover the often hidden world of makers, while also getting a real sense of what happens at Make Eindhoven on a day-to-day basis! Here, you get to see the CAD/CAM lab, foundry, glass and graphic workshop and everything in between as the makers crossover between disciplines and materials. While visiting you will experience techniques like mold making, metal casting, screenprinting, lithography, glass fusing, pâte de verre, 3d printing and cnc milling.
The artist and advisers
During this week artist like: Carlo Lorenzetti, Olga Flor, Marie Caye, Clara Swcheers, Jeroen Erosie, Noa MacDonald, Annelieke Rovers, Nawon Koo, (Zw)etsclub and Cecilia Jonsson will work on existing and new projects. This alongside our advisers: Lorena Miguel, Rino Sijen, Lieve van den Bijgaart, Marlijn van Zadelhoff, Alice Schiavone, Bo stokkermans and Chad Cordeiro which will showcase a broad range of techniques from the different departments.
The program
During DDW you will find our the workshop will be packed with artists, designers and our advisers who will share their experience, techniques, processes, and ideas. Walk in at any time to find ongoing live demonstrations. All of this is captured by Offside radio who will host a radio program during the week, giving you an insight in how objects as seen on the DDW are created and why makers do so.
