The tour along the canal focuses on immersive experiences. The various design studios at the NRE site—compact in size but big on creativity—welcome you with open arms. Innovation is also flourishing directly along the canal. This zone has been a staple of Dutch Design Week for years and continues to evolve.

More and more creatives are settling in this emerging industrial area. The Koelhuis is a prime example: the former Campina cold storage warehouse has been transformed into a centre for media art, immersive technology, and contemporary culture.
