Just take a five-minute bike ride or hop on a Design Ride from the station, and you'll find the NRE site – the first hotspot of the Canal Area. Explore the importance of urban greening with the Cooling down the city installation, or join the 10th birthday celebration of Fabrique Ceramique, showcasing a special selection of 10 works. At the Venus project, a collaboration between artist Bart Hess and choreographer/dancer Sedrig Verwoert, dance, multimedia, and costume design come together. Be amazed by light objects that promote health and wellbeing. And don’t forget to stop by The Body Building. Unleash the untapped potential of your body at Making Matter Move Man. Discover reclaimed and newly crafted pieces at Reclaimed and Stock Objects - Furniture Launch, where objects are made from recycled, repaired, and new materials.

Follow the canal further east to visit the newly built exhibition space of Kiki and Joost, where creativity and innovative craftsmanship are celebrated. Further along at the Koelhuis, you’ll find a host of immersive experiences. Be greeted by the vibrant, abstract fairground attractions of Fiera del Suono and a unique chrome creature called Pokka. Embark on a mystical journey of light, mist, sound, and movement in the Eigengrau Pavillion or dive into the eight projects at Decentralized Futures, exploring the interplay between art, economy, and technology.
