CWF2019: change the inevitable

13 September 2019

Surprising speakers, fascinating questions and an international vibe. Come to the Creativity World Forum 2019, a three-day international conference on creativity and innovation from 21 to 23 October in Brabant. Not to sit back and listen but to contribute to something bigger than yourself.

From the plastic soup in the oceans to food waste and from social inequality to climate change; we are facing immense challenges as a society. The engine for change? Creativity! During CWF2019, 2,000 creatives, entrepreneurs, policy makers, teachers and students from around the world will come together to change the inevitable through creativity. And you could be there too.

What awaits you?

Come to CWF2019 and experience the power of creativity for a full three days.

On Monday 21 October, you will be thrown off balance by a dazzling show in the Parktheater in Eindhoven. By surprising speakers such as Lilly Platt, who started cleaning up litter in her neighbourhood when she was six years old and five years later has become one of the most influential voices in the field of plastic pollution. Or by Dennis Karpes, founder of Dance4Life, who is now completely dedicated to combating the desertification of Africa. The day ends with an unforgettable food experience curated by food futurist Chloé Rutzerveld.

On day two you will go on an expedition in Brabant to one of the five CWF locations. As part of an interactive programme, you will work on current cases in the fields of mobility, inclusiveness, resources and food. Together, you will experience how you can use (your) creativity to come up with new solutions. And the day ends with a scintillating social event.

On day three we bring together existing knowledge and new insights in the Parktheater in Eindhoven, during sessions with changemakers like Michael Green (Social Progress), Lucas de Man (Nieuwe Helden), Jalila Essaidi (BioArt Lab) and Milo Chao (Chao&Cao). And we conclude with a healthy portion of positive confusion from mindfucker Victor Mids. Have we piqued your curiosity?
