Super Nostalgia

Welcome to the supermarket of the future.

How annoying would it be if we couldn’t find the ingredients we need at the supermarket? When I read that the climate crisis was affecting agriculture I thought about what the future of food will be like. I turned this frustration into a poster series advertising a supermarket in the 2050s.

What would happen if your favorite food disappeared?

In 2018, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) adopted the special report "Global Warming of 1.5 °C." If the current levels of greenhouse gas emissions continue, it is highly likely that the Earth's surface temperature will rise by 1.5 degrees or more compared to the pre-industrial period within the next two decades. This is more than a decade ahead of the IPCC target.

In the near future, if we do nothing, all the foods we enjoy today will be replaced or become rare.
