Mori divides and connects.
Diverse, but equal.
Behold her frozen dance
and how she draws strength from her fold.

Design

Mori's design grew from a study of the fold as a constructive element. The fold as a frozen dance. The fold was placed on 2/3rds of the table top, so that when used, one person is offered twice as much space as the other. Yet you are on the same level with each other. A diverse, but equal experience, which encourages conversation and authentic connection.

The table was folded origami-style from a 3 mm steel plate, then welded and finished with a white powder coating.
