lekkerblijvenlikken (justkeeplicking) is a female (driven) collective by Cynthia Foekema and Esther Fransman. They use designactivism to change the world! Bold statement art & illustrations that scrub against contemporary (double) standards to make way for more equality and advocate more diversity.
Equal pleasure, more equality and less injustice
lekkerblijvenlikken started in 2019 on Instagram posting simplistic line illustrations with quotes for more attention towards female pleasure, more equality and less injustice. They tickle taboos with their pens, for more awareness and more diversity. By visualizing themes such as menstruation, sexism, queerness, the orgasm gap or gender identity, they want to break out of the prevailing standard.
Flipping the script
lekkerblijvenlikken is amongst others an online platform where everybody should find themselves represented. Using flipping the script, humor and sexuality, lekkerblijvenlikken boldy attacks patriarchy to make people aware that equality is a right for all! Creating in your face statements but always with a rainbow of love.
You are your own protest sign, use that power!
Besides illustrations, sometimes as big as a wall, they put their equality statements in wear. What better way to confront people while walking around? Secondhand clothing and jewellery gets new life with statements that speak up about the right to be a slut (sletrecht) no matter what gender, about being a 'Linkse Kut' (a very progressive left winged person with a big pussy) or human rights all together. Lekkerblijvenlikken says: “You are your own protest sign, use that power!”.
