Bench 01 is a collaboration between the past and the near future. Infinitely customizable, the design allows you to enjoy the craftsmanship of traditional furniture making with the flexibility of modern materials.
Comfort & Colour
Danish weaving is a timeless furniture-making technique, but the paper cord traditionally used in its construction comes with visual and practical limitations.
Bench 01 uses sustainable cotton macrame cord to provide comfort and flexibility in the design process, allowing the customer to customise the bench with a limitless colour palette.
Production
Every bench is hand-crafted in the Amsterdam workshop using a combination of classic woodworking techniques, weaving looms, and custom jigs. This means Bench 01 has a fast production time, without compromising on the quality you would expect from a handcrafted piece.
