Light Echoes by Marieta Tedenac at Schellens Fabriek explores light as a medium that carries and preserves information through time. Featuring holograms and stereolithographic objects, the collection highlights how light can shape both tangible and ethereal forms, becoming a material itself.

The holographic stained glass piece, Holos, depicts a fictional plant cycle generated by computer algorithms rooted in real botanical principles. These plant holograms emerge under a spotlight, creating a lifelike illusion. Inspired by the Biblical third day of creation, Holos symbolizes the genesis of plants, seeds, and fruits.
By directing laser beams through photopolymer-coated flat glass, a holographic image is formed from the interference of light reflecting off a real object. This dance of opposing light waves creates the illusion of a three-dimensional flower, once present behind the glass. Through her work Marieta Tedenac explores timeless connections between light, time, technology, and perception. Her exhibition, Light Echoes, showcases light as a medium that transcends time.
