As designers, Vic and Olaf from FIK Design are driven by their creative vision on the world.
Alongside their successful collection of scented candles, they have embarked on a new phase with shapes and colours. The result: colourful design where sustainability and playful compositions are key.
"Introvert" Table Lamp
The playful and timeless design of FIK's Introvert Table Lamp is reflected in the combination of vibrant colours and gently rounded retro shapes.
Modern 3D printing techniques make it possible to create the complex lampshade. We print with the fantastic material called: rPLA. This ecological plastic is made in the Netherlands from renewable starch sources with the addition of recycled food packaging and is ultimately fully compostable. We cast the lamp base by hand in our own workshop from a sustainably produced and strong composite material, which forms a solid base for the lampshade.
It all comes together in this table lamp we have named INTROVERT. The outside appears modest at first, but when you turn it on, the light gently spreads out from the inside, layer by layer, and thus charmingly appears in your company.
Burnable sculptures
The sculpture candles draw attention with their unique shapes and textures. The collection includes three different sculptures, each with its own character. When these candles burn, they create a beautiful ribbed light effect that illuminates the room in an atmospheric way. In addition to the sculpture candles, there are dinner candles. These pieces bring a touch of elegance and monochrome design to your interior. Each set consists of three modern and playful compositions that together form one harmonious set. With the matching plateau + candleholder, you give the candles a stylish stage in your interior.
