77% of our residual waste is reusable! The average garbage bag contains valuable materials. These hidden treasures form the core of our challenge: how do we encourage residents to separate waste better and reduce residual waste? Muzus and HVC join forces to tackle this challenge. We aim to protect the environment, lower costs for residents, and keep valuable raw materials in the circular economy.
Dialogue at the Center
We engage in conversations about recycling rates, rewards, and how waste separation becomes a daily habit. Through these discussions, we gain insight into your challenges and develop solutions together. We demonstrate that most people are already doing well, motivating others to join in. Our actions take place in various municipalities, from local initiatives in Zeewolde to the planned challenge in Opmeer.
Action
We challenge you with questions like "How many grams can you save from residual waste?" and "Which waste type saves you the most?" Complete the waste bingo card and discover where you can still save. In Opmeer, we're preparing the "Less Grey, Everyone Wins!" campaign. You'll receive €20 if you reduce your residual waste by 100 grams per day. With these initiatives, we inspire and reward your efforts to reduce waste. Together, we're building a more sustainable future.
