Trend Research & Concept Creation bachelor students are both researching and shaping the future, challenging and redefining existing norms of society. Their graduate projects offer inspiration to explore what our future might behold and understand the changes happening in the time we are living in.

Understanding changes in society

The study program Trend Research & Concept Creation is on the crossing line of design, creativity and futures research. During the Dutch Design Week our graduates want to show what possible futures can look like, explain visitors how to understand the needs of the now in the changing world of tomorrow.

Exhibitors

Our graduate students will showcase their work at our exhibition. Every three days, new exhibitors will present their projects, offering fresh insights and themes. Check the schedule below to see when your favorite themes will be on display, and plan your visit to our exhibition.

October 19-21:

October 25-27:

Anke van Alen - improving quality of life for the homeless
Kelly van den Goor - sexuality & self-harm
Marit van der Elsen - care system for siblings of parents with psychiatric problems
Jenske Robberegt - the future of art education in secondary schools

Visit our TCL Talks

During Dutch Design Week, we will host three free TCL Talks at our exhibition (Area 51, Eindhoven Strijp-S). During these talks, our exhibitors will discuss their graduation projects and personal backgrounds. There will be ample opportunity to engage with the exhibitors about their work afterward. The TCL Talks will take place early in the day, allowing you plenty of time to visit various exhibitions.
