Houtwerff & Onno Adriaanse are joining forces to showcase an unique kitchen at Sectie-C. Dawn Kitchen draws inspiration from the stunning color transitions seen during a clear sunrise. For the first time, it’s presented in a brown hue, perfectly blending the aesthetics of Houtwerff & Onno Adriaanse.

For DDW 2024, Houtwerff and Onno Adriaanse are joining forces to present a unique kitchen at Sectie-C. Houtwerff specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind, handmade kitchens and interiors, while Onno Adriaanse is known for creating sculptural furniture and high-end interior finishes, often drawing inspiration from natural processes.
It was also the inspiration for the Dawn collection, based on the beautiful color transitions visible during a clear sunrise. Objects in the Dawn collection feature a finish that transitions from a dark hue to a transparent tint, gradually revealing the natural color of the wood.
The fronts of the Dawn kitchen are crafted in ash veneer, with the corpus made in a contrasting purple color. For the first time, the Dawn finish is presented in a warm brown color, seamlessly blending the aesthetics of Houtwerff and Onno Adriaanse.
