As a diverse group of artists and makers, we are committed to promoting sustainability in our respective fields.
In our workshop, our welders use recycled materials to create unique and stylish furniture. This approach not only helps reduce waste, but also emphasizes the importance of reusing materials in design. Each piece tells a story and reflects our commitment to sustainability.
The light art installations are made from sustainable materials. These installations not only add visual interest, but also align with our mission to promote sustainability.
Together, we work to integrate sustainable practices into photography, collage art, furniture design, light art, and welding. Our collective efforts are aimed at inspiring others to consider their impact on the planet and embrace a more sustainable future.

In our commitment to sustainability, our chefs go the extra mile to ensure that no food or energy used goes to waste. We believe in utilizing every part of the ingredients we work with, fostering creativity in cooking methods and so reduce our environmental impact.
For instance, we repurpose sake, cider and beer residue from local breweries as ingredients in our dishes? By incorporating these by-products into our recipes, we not only minimize waste but also add unique nutritional items, flavours and textures to our culinary creations.
From root to stem, peel to seed, our chefs work their magic to transform every component into a delectable simple masterpiece.
During DDW our chefs will give demo's in different styles of alternative cooking and will host workshops showing you what to do with different foods and preparations.
