Minerva, designed by Marlisa Marasco with Arredamenti Goti, is a sculptural throne inspired by the goddess of wisdom. This piece, combining intricate carvings and natural woods, celebrates Italian craftsmanship. Minerva brings mythology into modern spaces, merging art and function in a unique way.

Narrative Design

Minerva is not just a seat; it is a story brought to life through design. Inspired by Minerva, the Goddess of wisdom and protector of artisans, the throne embodies wisdom, protection, and creativity. This sculptural piece uses a dynamic interplay of natural woods—oak, amazakoue, and ramino—blended with lacquered accents, creating a vivid narrative in every detail.

Iconic Symbolism

The carefully crafted throne features intricate carvings and ornamental inlays that form the iconic elements of the Goddess. From the helmet, spear, and Medusa-adorned shield to her guiding owl and the olive tree she gifted to Athens, every aspect of the throne reflects the mythological essence of Minerva.

Artisanal Innovation

Minerva is an impactful, aesthetically innovative interpretation of seating, designed to capture attention. This unique design piece blends narrative and artisan excellence, showcasing the value and uniqueness of Italian craftsmanship through the timeless figure of the Roman goddess.
