About University of Antwerp, Faculty of Design Sciences

At University of Antwerp, the Faculty of Design Sciences hosts Conservation & Restoration, (Interior)Architecture, Urban Development, and Product development.

The department of Product development is the oldest and only academic education in product design in Belgium, predating the curricula at universities in the Netherlands. This department hosts approx 550 students and 35 researchers.
