Spherical Bound and Broken

Broken but yet unbroken. Paper-thin cast plaster and Mont Blanc porcelain.

In my art, I spark curiosity by combining materials and techniques in unexpected ways. I experiment with plaster and porcelain, turning forms inside out. This creates unique structures that only become visible after firing.

Unraveling the Secret

With my artwork, I aim to spark people's curiosity. The core of my approach lies in combining materials and applying various techniques. By twisting, binding, tensioning, and combining materials, I have created this work.

Although plaster was not originally intended for these creations, I became excited and challenged to experiment with it. I see my hands as explorers, through which I feel structures and discover small details.

The shards reveal new structures and skin-like patterns. The unexpected emerges when I turn the forms inside out and capture them in porcelain. The surprising inner structure only becomes visible after firing; these forms have never been seen before. They continue to amaze and surprise, making each one truly unique.
