Ricky van Broekhoven presents the installation Phasing Waves
Oscillating Matter
Vibrations and cycles exist at all levels of the universe, from subatomic processes to the movement of celestial bodies. Scientists and philosophers emphasize that everything is in constant flux. On the quantum level, where the smallest particles reside, basic laws of physics are challenged, opening up new possibilities for our understanding of space, time, and matter. The installation Phasing Waves by Ricky van Broekhoven and Albert van Abbe invites visitors to reflect on the tension between perception and reality.

About Studio Ricky van Broekhoven
Driven by curiosity about the nature of perception, Studio Oscillating Matter invites us to reconsider our notion of matter, energy, and the fluidity of time. Through hybrid soundscapes, synesthetic experiences, and machines that explore the gradience between physical and ephemeral, the studio encourages us to engage with reality in a way that is both embodied and reflective.
