Mixing Typologies

10 years Creative Chef studio stands for 10 years multidisciplinary thinking and doing. Purposefully braking with rules and Mixing Typologies!

Mixing typologies is central with everything the Studio does! How do do you make an experience of a chair not suitable to sit on? Why do you eat a story that makes you think of a better future? Why can't you use specific utensils at a dinner setting?

CERAMIC BEANS

These special ceramic objects based on the story of beans. The design is based on the uniqueness of mother nature, the stories surrounding beans and the power of biodiversity. The colours are based on actual colors which can be found on beans. These artworks can be used at the table, as decoration, as present or as artworks at your home.

DINNER SCULPTURE NO 4

In our Museum of Taste garden we hosted a very special dinner experience with our partners from Naturalis Biodiversity Center, related to a short documentary. The concept of a real growing table was chosen to really let the guests immerse into nature and to become part of the habitat they where sitting in.

This Dinner Sculpture will be on show in during the Dutch Design Week!

FUTURE FOOD CITY EXPERIENCE

The FFC dining experience tells the story about a city in 200 years from now where everything worked out. Humankind found the perfect way to thrive and live in a city that is hyperlocal, sustainable and biodiversity is key.

This dinner invites the guests to live in this city for a short moment and find out what the food of the future will taste like. During the experience, a story will be told that is connected with the special ingredients that are being served at the table. The experience is based on technologies and food solutions that are already working at this moment. A mix of special sounds, scents, a guiding video by the artist and a unique customer journey will bring the guests to the table. Or you could say, the future food city scale model.

The food is based on the possibilities that are available now to grow a full menu in a hyperlocal and sustainable system. Algae and seaweeds combined with wild berries, aquaponics fish and all kinds of edible flowers and special microgreens.

To actually taste this future, there is a much bigger chance guests will tell their version of this story to somebody else.
