WORTH Partnership Project

Funded by the European Union under the COSME Programme, WORTH Partnership Project creates and supports transnational collaborations between fashion designers, creatives, manufacturing SMEs, start-ups and technology firms looking to develop design-driven and innovative ideas.

3 calls for proposals and 152 winning projects involving over 340 partners from 34 EU-COSME countries: these are the numbers of WORTH Partnership Project, a four-year programme funded by COSME, the EU Programme for the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), devoted to promoting transnational collaborations between designers, creatives, manufacturing companies and tech firms around the development of innovative ideas.

Winning partnerships benefit from basic financial support, tailored coaching programme by international experts, professional support on intellectual property, and the participation in networking activities and two international exhibitions.

Within WORTH, global challenges and the way designers and SMEs can contribute with key solutions converge around circular economy and resources efficiency, social innovation and social inclusion; the reinvention of craftsmanship; advanced digitized manufacturing; smart and high-performance materials; high-value added solutions.
WORTH presents the results of the 2nd round of 62 partnership projects, committed to the development of a more smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth through design solutions.

WORTH Partnership Project is a European Commission initiative that aims to support collaborations between SMEs, designers, producers and technology companies to create new products and implement innovative and disruptive ideas with a high component of design. The initiative is implemented by a consortium across Europe, with the belief that creative industries are the main drivers of economic growth.
