Deploy, disrupting the industry of water storage!

Deploy aims to help rural communities and fire mitigation programmes easier access to water storage. We do it better than conventional concrete solutions by providing an affordable and more sustainable option, as well as a product designed for easy transportation and maintenance. Deploy is the first-ever air-deployed, ready-to-use water tank, manufactured with a concrete-filled fabric.

There is a water crisis and it’s more relevant than ever since without access to safely managed drinking water; millions of people living in vulnerable areas are at risk of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. By interacting with 175 communities in Ecuador, we found that water storage is an essential component of any water supply system, but also, it is the most expensive and labour-intensive. Additionally, we have been witnessing massive and terrible wildfires taking place all over the world, which has pushed a lot of countries to take action. We also want to support these initiatives by providing water tanks to help reduce the detrimental impacts of fires.

Our patent-pending technology is breaking the pre-established perception of concrete infrastructures being expensive, inflexible, and heavy.

Since 1969, my father and grandfather dedicated their lives to help communities that never expected to have any level of access to clean water, enjoy the resource by providing water infrastructure. Therefore, I wanted to contribute and in 2019 I started a project using composite materials to develop a water storage unit to translate my heritage, my own skillset, and knowledge, into a piece of infrastructure designed for those who are defenceless and yet cannot access life’s most basic.
