Four rivers already have legal rights. What if this was extended to other natural resources? Together with Medinge Group, you can explore what's already being done to include nature as legal entity in design. Review the influence of these actions and help define a new framework for impactful design.

When you give rivers, forests, mountains and oceans the same legal rights as humans and corporations have, it changes the order in your design. From the outset you have to integrate the potential impacts on the planet.

Four rivers already have legal rights: The Whanganui in New Zealand, Rio Atrato in Colombia and the Ganga en and Yamuna rivers in India.
