This design by Hilde Vangeel is based on the concept 'balance'.
When you think of balance, you spontaneously think of imbalance.
In this design balance is created by weight.
Finding and keeping the right balance is important in all aspects of life. This table reminds us of that.
Two poles, equal to each other but different in so many ways.
However, one cannot exist without the other.
The table needs the weight to remain in balance and function.
