How do we want to live together in the future?

DDW Talks: Connected Living

Discover the impact current social challenges have on our homes and workplaces as we explore more collaborative and eco-friendly lifestyles. In this event we ask ourselves how we relate to the objects and space around us, and find new ways to connect to these crucial elements of daily life.

Ma-tt-er’s Material Therapy

In this edition of the Connected Living talk, Ma-tt-er invites everyone to share their material woes in a therapy session. We ask you to enter this space embodying and inhabiting a material expressing your troubles to us so that we can orient you towards futures that are inclusive, relational and diverse. When you inhabit your material you might consider how you would like to be treated now and in the future.

We will be on hand to guide you towards futures that are connecting you to the living world, helping build those bridges between humans and non-humans. All objects have feelings after all and we are on hand to offer you guidance and support towards building an interconnected world. Tune in for the event and share your questions with us during this live session!

Moderated by Seetal Solanki of Ma-tt-er, joined by Lyall Sprong and Yegwa Ukpo of Newtype.
