Step inside our dreamed landscape of Paradise. — © Heleen van Heel, Carolina Nossig, Stefania Pojar

What is Paradise? Whose is the Paradise? Your thoughts, doubts and points of view will be placed in a pattern designd by us which symbolises the 4 elements of Paradise: 4 rivers, 4 seasons and 4 directions . The pattern of Paradise will grow by added messages of visiors the during the DDW 2021.

Surprise yourself in this exhibition by adding meaning as a co-creator of this pattern of Paradise.

Since the dawn of time - and in every community -, we have dreamt of a perfect, happier place. A place that we once lived and want to return to. A distant place, both in time and space, that has always been the model for the development of cultures and society. It is only through our collective effort and reflection that we can achieve and bring our complex society closer to Paradise. Jij en het Paradijs, is an exhibition that challenges you to think your relationship with the Paradise. We invite you to join the discussion about You and the Paradise and express in your own words what the Paradise means to you. We place your thoughts in a graphically designed Paradise, so that your written thoughts are visible to other visitors. Perhaps your thoughts raise questions or you have questions about the Paradise yourself... Answers will not be obvious, but the sum of all thoughts and questions can lead to insight and perhaps to answers. In this exhibition, the theme: The Greater Number is about the number of questions and hopefully also about the number of thoughts that visitors can give during the DDW2021. After the DDW, we will make a booklet of the exhibition.
