RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) together with Eindhoven University of Technology and other excellent partners within the design field have launched a European Design Competence and Excellence, to designerly address societal challenges and transform current practices into sustainable ones.
The Design Center is launched the framework for the New European Bauhaus and includes partners such as Umeå Institute of Design, Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, the Norwegian Bioregion Institute, SVID, Svensk Form and a strong ecosystem of designers, architects, and creatives in different fields.
The proposed DDW event is a network event to follow up on 2 international conferences on Design, Cities and Innovation hosted in Sweden with the aim of gathering international (prospective) partners active within the New European Bauhaus movement and continue building a thriving design-driven ecosystem.
