HKU Class of 2021

Climate is an important theme for many recently graduated HKU students. Topics such as rising water, drought, forest fires, food waste, the clothing industry, environment, global warming… and so on.

We have selected a group of alumni where you can clearly see how they relate to these large complex issues. Where do you start? With something you can easily do now? The sub-theme of the Dutch Design Week, It's In Our Nature, is therefore the theme in which we recognize our selection. How can we recover, solve? It is in our nature to develop.

In this exhibition, these ideas, considerations and methods are not only on display, but we focus on transferring them. This does not stop at the creator, but the visitor participates in the work or takes it home. This is not a static exhibition, but a direct invitation to the visitor to take action: 'I think this is an option, what do you think?'
