(Archive) Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie presents talent

This project was part of DDW 2021

The Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie offers a glimpse into the thinking and practice of 35 up-and-coming design talents, all of whom relate to current social themes. What are their motives, their doubts and ambitions and which values do they put first in their work?

Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie presents talent

Every year, thanks to a grant from the Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, emerging design talents active in the fields of design, architecture and digital culture are given the opportunity to develop optimally, both artistically and professionally. The 20/21 generation is diverse and motivated by a sense of urgency. They all know how to formulate their own answers, or questions, to the era of crises that shaped them. Their investigations range from Afrofuturism and medieval paganism to research on recyclable glaze or plant-based cheese. Through introspection and critical reflection, they have managed to chart a singularly original course. We show this in 35 one-minute film portraits.
