Nonstop languaging is an autotheoretical performance practice through which Antrianna Moutoula is craving to renegotiate the confinements, norms, and protocols of knowledge production within artistic academic discourse. During DDW21 this practice is being presented through the format of a video.
Confined spaces
Creating a parallel between language and design as confined spaces that need to be questioned and transformed, rather than shifting the attention to the new, the undiscovered or the far away, this work proposes a foregrounding of that which has been considered insignificant, inappropriate, or inefficient. It is an invitation to revaluate what are those things that matter and to consider that everything there is, remains of the past and concerns of the future, are all matters of the continuous present, matters that are malleable, negotiable, and transformable.
