During Dutch Design Week 2022, around a hundred students from various courses in the Netherlands and abroad, under the guidance of coaches from leading digital design agencies, will work on this question.
Creative Jam Details
At the SintLucas College in Eindhoven, Dutch Digital Agencies, Night of the Nerd, Dutch Digital Design and SintLucas College organise a special Creative Jam with a Challenge from What Design Can Do. The Creative Jam will take place on Friday, October 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Teams with students from different study programs will work on a What Design Can Do challenge. The challenge will be presented a week prior to the event.
The theme of Dutch Design Week 2022 is “Get Set” and indicates a shift in mentality: from preparation to action. The Creative Jam is a great example of this, because the students are working on the assignment to use technology and design for practical solutions for a more circular society.
Based on the briefing, everyone gets started to deliver a pitch. Each team receives guidance from professionals in the field, from the most progressive digital agencies.
The students pitch the solution for the challenge to a jury of design and sustainability experts.
