‘Because Metaverse’ is a work-in-progress exhibition presenting the works of third year students from Fontys ARTCODE. Dutch Design Week forms the conclusion of their 14-week artistic research and is the first time they exhibit their work.

An online world where you will be able to meet up with your friends, do things you thought were impossible and be able to expand your existence in any way you want. With the launch of the metaverse a lot of exciting new opportunities will arise, not only for users and consumers, but also for brands and companies.
The student of Fontys ARTCODE invite you to explore the metaverse with five interactive installations and reflect about the pros and consequences this new way of life can offer.
