In order to create, an artist or designer needs a place to work. A workplace is not just a physical space, it's a community, a network and a platform. A maker draws inspiration from their context, but in turn, the maker also inspires their environment.
At the heart of one of Eindhoven's preeminent breeding grounds for artistic production, we explore the value that cultural incubators and creative hubs generate for society, and we celebrate the placemakers that shape makerspaces nationwide.
This program is a coproduction of TAC, TU/e Urban Labs and Fontys University of Applied Sciences, as a conclusion of their joint research project 'Bloeiende Broedplaatsen'.
