Trough our work we hope to inspire people and the society they live in to once again develop a warm, loving bond with the things around them.

The exhibition its a selection of projects created by our studio h220430 based in Tokyo Japan.

In a time when consumerism has taken over the control of world production, it is very challenging for people to rediscover a true connection with the things they own. Users are expected to have a fleeting relationship with the objects, to use them and throw them away repeatedly in order to maintain this massive machine known as mass production.
As we continue along this process, we are losing the values that things formerly possessed as well as the various tales and the imprints of the hands who created them.

As craftsmen preserve and master historical knowledge, there is a great sense of reverence for them in Japan. Cultural values are something we need to worry for, and as a design studio, we always integrate artisans process to bring this value to things.
When we design an object, we are more concerned with instilling spirit and story into it than with manipulating its form.
We think that by doing this, the user's bond with the object will grow stronger.
The designs included in this exhibition help creating little everyday discoveries and joys which lead to abundance that is spiritual rather than material.
