The world is facing enormous challenges. At Brightlands we take them on every day. We design Tomorrow's Life: circular materials, healthier living and more equal opportunities. You can get a taste of Tomorrow’s Life at our circular pavilion located at Ketelhuisplein and meet some of our designers.
Designs that will change our lives
During DDW, we spotlight our “tip of the iceberg”:
• Cultivated meat
• Using AI to fight poverty
• Medicinal tomatoes
• Cycling apparel made out of plastic bottles
• Heart valve coated with shrimp shells
• Your poop as a key to your health
Each and every one of these are designs that will change our lives. We are also working on countless other groundbreaking projects. You can get a taste of Tomorrow’s Life at our circular pavilion located at Ketelhuisplein.
