In the ever-changing modern society, "eternity" is a luxury idea. On the contrary, the ambiguous concept of time, "temporary," seems more concretely embodied in everyday life. In particular, temporary identities emerged from consumerist culture. Indeed, we are what we buy. With endless choices, people nowadays have the opportunity to pursue more and different self-images, but at the same time, these images become fragmented and ephemeral.
