The exhibition is the first time we present the full WEEEF collection of works all together. We also take the opportunity to launch some new additions to the collection and introduce a new designer.
WEEEF is the face of EE Exclusives' craftsmanship to the world, weaving in Heeze since 1900.
Woven artworks in ultra-high definition
Textile company EE Labels / EE Exclusives was founded in 1900. The family company has been producing woven labels and ribbons for many years. In 2000, when they celebrated their 100th-anniversary, they became friends of Design Academy Eindhoven. Since then, they have realized many collaborations with designers like Kiki van Eijk, Marcel Wanders, John Körmeling, Viktor&Rolf and many more.
WEEEF - by EE Exclusives presents woven artworks in ultra-high definition. All developed on the jacquard looms of our textile factory based in Heeze, in close collaboration with the artists and designers.
At Dutch Design Week 2022 WEEEF is featuring collaborations with: Kiki van Eijk, Scheltens&Abbenes, Alissa+Nienke, Alejo Musich, Olga Serrarens, Masha Reva, Anne-Claire Petit and Sampat Studio - the design studio of former intern Marcos Kueh.
