Anatomic is a tapestry and chair in one. Designed by Nynke Tynagel & translated by textile pioneers BYBORRE to an extremely complex 3D knit. Nynke’s design is based on her desire to explore human connections beyond skin deep. Made out of recycled PES and Dutch oak in a limited design edition of 600.

When art, design and textile come together

Globally acclaimed graphic Dutch artist Nynke Tynagel and the new design-art initiative inCC: created the ground-breaking Anatomic, a design art piece chartering new territory in means of material use and product functionality. Depicting the internal workings of the human body, Nynke’s bold design was translated by textile pioneers BYBORRE into an innovative 3D knit that invites for tactile exploration with details that unravel with every new glance. Referencing childhood board games and educational diagrams, the design is based on the artist’s desire to explore human connections beyond skin deep.

Single use is history

Anatomic can be enjoyed like textile art when mounted on a wall with the included wall mount as well as a deck chair suitable for in and outdoor. The wooden construction doubles as a frame for the artwork and as a base of the chair. Its dual-functionality was a conscious choice of inCC: driven by their mission to make more with less.

Limited design edition

Anatomic is hand made in The Netherlands with recycled PES and certified Dutch oak from Staatsbosbeheer. The limited edition of 600 is numbered. You are cordially invited to reserve your Anatomic online at in-cc.co .
