We present the results of 2 years of research into creating video realistic
digital humans for use in educational, behavioral change and art projects.

Realistic and more attractive learning enviroments

in learning situations, where the learner needs to learn how to handle themselves in a specific scenario, realism is extremely important. Using volumetric video we can introduce digital people into a learning environment without breaking the level of realism required for the immersive situation created. This means technology can now be used to teach people how to react to certain behaviour of people to the point of slight facial expressions while maintaining the feeling of looking at an actual person.

Long lasting awareness and empathy

Due to the photo realistic video a lot of emotion and connection can be conveyed which would otherwise feel fake or off. People get sucked into the world of the character displayed and join them on their journey feeling a link through the realism of the digital human. The message will be much stronger and convincing than when using traditional media.

Worlds without frontiers

in the music entertainment industry a live performance is the peak of interaction between a fan and a performer. Using volumetric video this limit can be pushed to new heights creating more personal and unique experiences for fans while reducing the workload on artists and performers.
