Embroidery Workshop
Let’s celebrate the endless possibilities of embroidery art together. Come see our Embroidery Upcycling station at The Student Hotel Eindhoven where you can embroider your own unique t-shirt. Or learn a lifelong skill that will fix and grace your outfits forever at one of our interactive workshops. Join embroidery super talents Martine van ’t Hul (Het Borduurburo) and Woo Jin Joo (NOoF Talent 2021) to learn hand embroidery and freehand machine embroidery to create your own unique designs.
Martine van ’t Hul and New Order of Fashion talent Woo Jin Joo will show you the possibilities of embroidery: hand stitching, including basting stitch, running stitch, chain stitch, and festoon stitch. You will be adorning your very own Dutch style badge, which will be your guide and template. You will learn how to mix and match different stitch techniques to create your personal embroidery signature.
