The technique of milking ceramics is a Ukrainian ancient craft. This unique treatment was developed indigenously using the most common resource available for farmers – milk. Various Ukrainian milk types tell the story of a specific farmer and their relationship with home(land) in times of war.

The technique of milking ceramics is an ancient Ukrainian craft. This unique method uses milk, the most common resource available to farmers. Oksana Denusevuch applies the technique of glazing with milk using different milk, leading to different results each time. For this exhibition, she made a series of bowls milk-glazed with milk from different Ukrainian farmers.
