Kapsul 1.0

Working from home is the new normal. Business around the world have had to adapt to a different way of working due to the pandemic that has validated the feasibility of virtual work, as remote working has proven to generate more profit by curbing corporate expenditures, while saving time and resources. Many professionals have reportedly thrived in a remote work environment and never want to go back to their former office lives. Thanks to both increased technological resources and adapted off ice furniture, we believe that we can offer a novel -and better- work environment.
For that reason, we have reflected on how to devise an adaptable work station that can easily blend into any a home setup. The idea was to create an innovative and insulated work station, equipped with the all the amenities and technologies needed. Our answer to this new need is a savant mix of old and new; a concept inspired by the old traditional secretary writing desks, but featuring futuristic specs and innovative technology. KAPSUL in its first version 1.0: a desk which blends perfectly in a home setting but transforms, when deployed, into a soundproof work station.

Stepchair

The transformable chair seamlessly turns into a stepladder. Inspired by old library furniture and revisited with a modern twist, it is generated by the process of applying wood veneer textures to CNC-cut and easily assembled plywood boards. Its colors are a tribute to Piet Mondrian & Gerrit Rietveld
