Can you estimate the interaction a space or structure entails? Together with designer Imke Sloos we made De Dome, a striking structure that, according to the makers, evokes a certain state. But will this work out as designed?

With this question in mind, we set of to design an experience in space and sound to evoke a moment of relaxation and serenity; De Dutjesdome.
Deployed at Wildeburg 2022 as an ultimate retreat spot to recharge, a space for a powernap deluxe, controlled by a soundscape and supported by cushions. But will this work out as designed? Can you effectively design an interaction, or is it up to the visitors and thereby participants to determine what the space will be and mean?
