Stuff as roommates

If I look around in my overcrowded home there are only a few objects important to me. Whether this table is there or a comparable alternative makes no difference to me. I miss a connection with the stuff around me. It does not matter to us which specific things are there, but for the stuff it is certainly important. Where they are and what we do with them determines who they are. With my design I start from the characters and needs of the objects. In order to communicate what they desires. By adding fittings to and around the objects their needs and desires are met. In this way it is no longer about our desires, but about what the objects want. To prevent careless handling of things, in order to make them less replaceable and more valuable.
