Sharing data safely through a neutral exchange for technological innovations enables preventive health care

This project was part of DDW 2022
Data Donor Club

At the Data Donor Club, you experience different ways to exchange data. We show how to exchange data safely through a neutral and independent data exchange. This platform - comparable with the notary - ensures that data is shared according to agreed terms and conditions beforehand.

How to share data in a responsible way?

Data sharing and aggregation are crucial for all kinds of technological applications in preventive healthcare. However, data sharing is also tricky and not entirely without risks. Without well-regulated conditions and secure systems, you cannot control what others do with your information.

At the Data Donor Club, you will experience how data can be shared. Besides direct transactions, we show data sharing via data exchange. This platform - comparable to a notary - ensures that data is used according to predefined conditions. Data shared via a data exchange is only processed by certified algorithms and with the consent of the sharing party. In this way, they retain control and authority.

Governance and responsible handling of people and their data are of predominant importance in healthcare. We can remove barriers to data sharing and facilitate preventive healthcare by ensuring that data sharing is fair and as agreed.
