Which online content leads to violence and which does not? Designers investigated how a new collaboration might prevent violent incidents.
Designing collaboration
To gain a better understanding of the online world in Amsterdam Zuidoost, the Municipality of Amsterdam plans to start a pilot collaboration with a yet to be established ‘Online Basis Team’ (OBT) with youth workers, street coaches, project leaders Youth & Safety and a digital local police officer.
In the Embassy Lab New Cohort, the Municipality of Amsterdam and design agency Greenberry set to work with the question of how the Online Basis Team can gain insight into the online world in the short term and within the limitations of the legislation.
This is not a drill
Design agency Greenberry brought all those involved together in a co-design process and developed: LookBack. An interactive tool that stimulates collaboration within the Online Basis Team.
During Dutch Design Week, the interactive installation 'This is not a drill' lets visitors step into the shoes of Online Basis Team and you are asked to relate online content to a violent incident.
