Talks & network event: Spatial design & cross-border observations; digital design in a hybrid world
On October 25th CreativeNL will host, live from Eindhoven’s livestream studio in De Effenaar, a roundtable talk in 3 parts about spatial design & cross-border observations; digital design in a hybrid world; and Dutch innovation during SXSW. Several key players from the Dutch creative industry, active in the United States will share their insights on developments, opportunities and collaboration. We will conclude the USA-session with networking drinks.

The roundtable will be divided in three parts, all aligning with Dutch projects, opportunities and initiatives linked to the USA:
1. The starting point is the Sustainable Urban Design Summit organized in Detroit by the NL Consulate General in Chicago in partnership with Detroitisit. In Eindhoven we will be able to reflect on the summit and look ahead & beyond with moderator Rob Adams and organizers Andrea van der Grinten & Ivana Kalafatic.
Additionally, inspiration can be drawn from recent US projects by Dutch architecture firm MVRDV (Alex Rodriguez).
To further inspire our audience we will invite Lotte Holterman of Fillip Studios to share their creative ideas combining arts and environmental factors, named Arabidopsis Symphony.
2. In part 2 of the US-session, we will move onto different territory with a focus on digital design, following the focus on public space, spatial and physical design. Keynote speaker will be Bert Hagendoorn of Dutch Digital Design.
We will conclude with part 3; a throwback and preview to SXSW and Dutch presence and visibility regarding smart cities/social design & innovation, discussed by Danny Frietman.
