My project blends digital and physical design through an interactive collection. Fusing physical design with digital/technological design. Creating wearable pieces that activate upon touch. Pushing the boundaries within fashion design.

Exploring Phygital Realms in Design and Technology.

In a world where the digital becomes more and more intertwined in our lives, we are still wary of technology and the digital life. With my project I am showcasing a way where our digital and physical lives meet. With this phygital collection I am exploring a way to make a digital embodiment more tactile. Can we have an interactive experience with a digital creature? What does this digital creature look like and how does it live on our physical bod? I created an interactive collection that combines physical design with digital/technological design, to create a unique and immersive experience. My collection pushes the boundaries of traditional design and showcases the potential of technology and fashion working together.

Transforming Fashion with Projection Couture

By using projection couture, I am making a phygital fashion collection that inspires people to look at fashion as something more than just clothes. It gives a glimpse of future design by using technology as a tool to create a new design method. My phygital collection is an innovative collection that combines projection mapping with technology integrated in to textiles. By using these new technologies, the collection transforms from traditional garments into living, breathing works of art that respond to the touch of the viewer. The collection is inspired by the idea of humans and digital lives coming together to create a transhuman collection. I used elements like veins, bones, and spines to create the illusion of these human aspects becoming more than just human. When looking at our bodies and our clothes as tools to create a new reality, a reality where we use technology and digitalization for a new way of living.
