Creative Holland Live

Creative Holland Live is a new series of live-streamed meetings, for and by the entire sector, organised by Creative Holland, the network organisation which represents the interests of the Dutch creative industry on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The aim is to bring together various actors in an open setting in order to learn from each other and to inspire thinking beyond the usual boundaries. The meetings will also inform participants and spectators about relevant developments such as new public regulations.

Are you ready to make an impact abroad? During Creative Holland Live#3 we will discuss which government funding options are available to support your international ambitions. Which international (design) fairs really matter; is it better to go to a fair or on a trade mission? What can you actually do at embassies and consulates? And how did other creatives take their first steps on the international stage? We talk to Kyra Roest from the 'Embassy of Creativity' about the Cannes Lions fair, and to Carina Weijma, who is a business developer for Creative Holland and is conquering Germany (you can get involved!) with the 'City of Things' program. After this session you will know how to take your first steps and who you can turn to for what! But that is not all. After this session there will be drinks. Here you will get the chance to make contact with the affiliated parties of network Creative Holland. With these contacts in your pocket, it will then be even easier to take your first international leap.

Programme 3.30pm-4.45pm: Creative Holland Live#3 Panel session: Bestemming buitenland 4.45pm-7pm Network + Drinks Panel session: Perspective on Trade Fairs Are you ready to make an impact abroad? An important first step towards the international market is presenting yourself at a strategic trade fair. What can the entrepreneurs who have already done this tell you about the experience? What will the strategic trade fair look like post-Covid? What are the opportunities for your design sector and company? And finally, how do you get there? This session sets out to answer these questions. You will get to grips with the government’s Strategic Scholarships Programme. You will hear stories, tips and tricks from entrepreneurs who have already done it, find out about plans for the future and learn what this programme can mean for you. After this session you will know how to take your first steps and who can help! But that’s not all. During the after-session drink you will have the chance to make contact with the members of the Creative Holland network. With these contacts in your pocket, it’s even easier to take the first international leap afterwards.
