The collection, inspired by India, was created with an idea of how its incredible cultural diversity can be reimagined. Made with only local materials, it shows that on the intersection of the local and the global the most interesting things appear.

JDH 01 chair

JDH is Jodhpur, Indian «City of the Sun». A city in which the main colors are bright electric, and in which the sun shines almost all year round. An old city that does not leave anyone indifferent due to its unearthly color and numerous attractions. The shape of the table, laconic and strict, reminds of the solid massif of the Mehrangarh Fortress. Made from solid ash wood, the chair has three rounded legs, as well as a rounded seat and back. The bright colors reminiscent of the colors of India, and makes a chair an accent piece of any interior.

AGR 01 table

AGR stands for Agra and Agra is a marble. The most famous Indian palace, completely made of marble, mesmerizes with its grandeur and scale. The shape of this table is inspired by the incredible dome of the palace, and the material from which it is made is reminiscent of the sumptuous cladding of the «Crown-Palace". The concrete table, is hollow inside, and absolutely solid with its shape. After casting, the surface is being polished and varnished, and due to that the piece achieves smooth matte texture.

CYD 01 armchair & SQR 01 chair

CYD - is a cylinder, and SQR - is a square. A simple geometric shapes that underlie in so many things. The fullness and grace of the cylinder, combined with the simplicity of the square, inspired these pieces. Elegant and refined at the same time, they will become a bright accent of the interior. The seat and cushion of the armchair, upholstered in bright fabric with embroidery, will complement the simple geometric shape. The chairs' form - basic but laconic - shows how beautiful the simplicity might be.

About Konos Studio

Konos was made for furniture. But not only for it. We took some architecture, added lots of music, a hit of art, plenty of voyages, and, voila, the konos studio appeared. We’re here to show that form can be unique, and genuine. We want to embrace new forms. Not to copy simple ones, to show inspiration that comes not only from banal repetition, but from different cultures, countries, and spheres of art. Peace and love!
