In Inside/Outside, DEMO presents three works in progress, evolving through the DDW. Mobile interventions go into the streets, engaging with the public in unexpected ways. What is brought inside the open studios at Plug In City is fuel for progress.

The DEMO Effect

DEMO is all about showing and growing ideas. We believe that ideas do not develop in isolation. Every design is shaped through an ongoing exchange between the designer and the world around them. New perspectives, conversations, feedback, and unexpected encounters challenge assumptions and reveal new possibilities. Yet this process often remains invisible, as design is usually presented as a finished outcome rather than a journey of testing, adaptation, and growth. This exhibition exemplifies this approach, demonstrating and celebrating how ideas evolve when exposed to new perspectives and feedback.

About DEMO

At DEMO we believe in the power of ideas. Too often, they are left behind due to barriers like lack of funding, fear of failure, or the absence of a network. DEMO offers space to test out and exhibit ideas and builds a community that supports makers and thinkers in Eindhoven with inspiration and connections. In only 2.5 years we supported over 130 makers with 35 partners. DEMO connects people across generations, disciplines, and backgrounds, making culture in the city truly accessible and inclus
